A very big surprise to me as I saw this pulling into Kings Cross as it was origionaly meant to be at Wembley but was last minuite booked into Kings Cross, and I luckely managed to be there at the right time to fot a rare sight consisting of DBS 90021, Virgin Trains hired Cargo-D MK3 DVT set, and EWS liveried 90035 at the rear

What with the closure of the ECML between Peterborough and London Kings Cross, I decided to spend the day at Cambridge to gain some one off shots of both First Hull Trains & Grand Central Train services terminating here. On this day, FCC services from Cambridge terminated at Letchworth Garden City, also due to the EC closure

The first weekend of the ECML closure between Peterborough and London Kings Cross consists of NXEC trains terminating at both Peterborough and Huntingdon, and FCC Networker services terminating at Biggleswade. This collection also includes a rare shot of Anglia liveried 170273, which is only 1 of 3 170s still in the origional Anglia livery, awaiting referbishment from NXEA very soon
